GUILFORD — Two people were injured after a fire broke out in Guilford yesterday.

The incident took place at a home that was built to resemble a farm silo on Hamilton Road at around 9:23 a.m.

Police say this home was hosting a large weekend get together with friends and family who stayed in tents and vehicles on the property.

The homeowners, Allison and Michael Postmus, sustained burns and injuries from jumping out of the fourth-floor window to escape the blaze.

They were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital then airlifted to Mass General Hospital.

Fire investigators have classified the fire origin as undetermined at this time.
