GUILFORD — Guilford Cares and the Guilford Conservation Commission is sponsoring “Seniors Walk at Grassy Spur.”
The walk takes place at the Green River Village at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10.
Linda Lembke will lead the walk and give observations about the role conservation has had in the history of this meadow and other lands along the Green River.
Participants will also take a look at invasive plant management.
Organizers say this is an easy walk, one mile in total on a grassy path along the river.
Participants should park on the west side of the Green River Covered Bridge, and meet at the meadow gate, 150 yards east of the bridge.
