Multiple vehicles broken into in Guilford, windows smashed

GUILFORD — Police are investigating after several vehicles were broken into in Guilford yesterday.

State Police were notified of the incident on Hamilton Road at around 9:42 p.m.

The address is a community camp with multiple victims involved.

The vehicles that were locked had their windows shattered, and those that were unlocked had doors, trunks and hoods left open, police say.

Police say money, electronics, tools, and bicycles were stolen.

According to the report, a suspicious vehicle, possibly a red Ford Transit Connect bearing partial Vermont registration 450, driven by a man in his early 20’s, was seen leaving the road as the victims approached.
