VERNON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Vernon on Saturday.
The crash took place on Fort Bridgman Road at around 11:58 a.m.
A motorcycle was driven by Robert Mosgrove, 60, of Marlboro, and a 2020 model Jeep Cherokee driven by Jaclyn Root, 68, of Guilford, was involved in the crash.
According to the report, Root was attempting to turn left onto Tyler Hill Road from Fort Bridgman Road and Mosgrove was headed south on the scene when the two vehicles collided.
Mosgrove hit the rear passenger side of Root.
Police say Mosgrove sustained multiple incapacitating injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital and then taken by DHART helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Vernon and Guilford Fire Departments, and Rescue Inc.
