ROCKINGHAM — A 49-year-old man from Connecticut was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Rockingham yesterday.

The motorcycle crash took place on Route 103 at around 1:34 p.m.

Police say they found that James Serra, of Watertown, CT, was driving his Harley south when he failed to make a left hand turn into a Sunoco Gas Station parking lot.

Serra and his passenger, Caitlin Daly, 30, also of Watertown, were injured in the crash, police say.

Both individuals were transported to Springfield Hospital.

Serra complained of pain to his rib cage and Daly suffered a fracture to her left hand.

Police say the motorcycle sustained minor damage.

“Heavy rain was falling at the time of the crash and this played a role in the crash,” a statement issued by the police reads.
