Driver injured during crash on Vermont Route 30, Jamaica

JAMAICA — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Jamaica today.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 30 at around 12:40 p.m.

According to the report, a vehicle driven by Craig Pratt, 50, of Chester, was backing into Route 30 from the driveway of a residence.

As the truck backed into the southbound lane of travel, Richard Worden, 85, of
Zephyrhills, FL, was headed south on Route 30 and crashed into the rear of Pratt.

Police say Worden sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Grace Cottage Hospital by Rescue Inc. Ambulance Service.
