The crash took place on Warren Switch Road at around 1:00 p.m.
According to the report, Mark Miller, 69, of West Pawlet, was headed south on Briar Hill Road when he impacted the broad side of Michael Coarse, 39, of Rutland.
“Overgrown shrub trees and bushes encroaching the intersection were contributing factors to this crash,” a statement issued by police regarding the incident reads.
