Police: Mount Holly teen arrested for threatening household member with a gun

MOUNT HOLLY — An 18-year-old woman was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Mount Holly yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a dispute at a home on Vermont Route 103 at around 6:25 p.m.

According to the report, the young woman from Mount Holly was armed with a firearm when she threatened to cause serious bodily injury and pain to a family or household member.

Police say she also assaulted two officers on scene while taking her into custody.

She was taken into custody yesterday and ordered held without bail.

She was issued a citation to appear in court today to answer to the charges of 1st degree aggravated domestic assault, 1st degree aggravated assault, interference with access to emergency services, resisting arrest, and assault on a protected professional.

She was transported to the Chittenden County Correctional Center where she was lodged pending arraignment.
