Police located a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze behind a residence on Maple Street in Rutland City.

This vehicle had matching damage, consistent with the crash that occurred at Alderman’s Toyota.

Police seized the vehicle and ultimately were able to match parts left at the scene to it.

The vehicle owner, identified as Stephanie Murray, of Rutland City, was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and contempt of court.

Murray was cited to appear in court on November 18 to answer to the above charges.
