Two-vehicle crash in Shaftsbury

SHAFTSBURY — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Shaftsbury on Wednesday.

The crash that took place on Vermont Route 7A at around 11:54 a.m.

According to police, Boyce Brogden, 58, of White Creek, NY, was attempting to turn left from Paulin’s Store parking lot.

Police say Brogden pulled his vehicle in front of a second vehicle, driven by Michael Duggan, 63, of Hudson Falls NY.

Brogden sideswiped Duggan’s vehicle as he went by.

Brogden told police that his view to the south was obstructed by a dump truck that was parked alongside the road.

Police say Brodgen’s vehicle was removed by All Service Citgo and Duggan drove his vehicle from the scene.
