SHAFTSBURY — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Shaftsbury on Wednesday.
The incident took place on Cross Hill Road at around 11:06 p.m.
Police say they found that a vehicle had left the south side of the road and hit a utility pole causing it to sever and fall into the road.
The involved vehicle was not on scene and could not be located in the vicinity.
Following an investigation, police say it is believed that the vehicle involved is a 2018-2019 Ford F-250 or F-350.
The vehicle should have damage to the right side to include the truck bed and rear taillight.
