Animal causes rollover crash in Dorset

DORSET — A 51-year-old woman was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash after hitting an animal in Dorset on Sunday.

Police responded to the crash which took place in the area of Morse Hill Road and Wind Hill Road at around 4:11 a.m.

Police say they located the vehicle in a ditch off the side of the road.

Based on evidence at the scene and statements from the driver, police say it was found that an animal entered the road in front of the vehicle.

Police say weather and road conditions were also a contributing factor in this crash.
